Purpose of the BLA Sales Table.
The BLA Sales table gives the seller a way to sell their surplus non-livebearers, shrimp, snails and live cultures, aquarium furniture and plants.
All sales table items (including fish, shrimp and snails) can be entered on the day with no need to pre-book.
Welfare of Livestock
The welfare of all livestock offered for sale is of paramount importance.
Please Note: Consideration of sales table livestock should include the environmental conditions, it is not acceptable for livestock to get cold when being offered for sale on the sales table. All matters concerning the welfare of the fish are the seller’s responsibility only.
Please ensure that all livestock are healthy prior to sale and correctly bagged.
Electrical items
Guaranteed in Working Order, Name & Telephone Number Supplied
This applies to electrical or mechanical equipment the Seller has checked, tested and confirmed as being in fully working condition, the equipment will also have a label with the seller’s name and phone number. If for any reason the equipment doesn’t work when tested at home, the buyer must contact the seller directly.
Please note: Any recourse MUST be made DIRECTLY WITH THE SELLER, NOT the BLA.
Sales Table deadline
Please note that ALL sales table items need to be on the sales table no later than 11:30.
After 11:30, no new sales table items will be added to the sales table.
Commission rates
The standard commission rate of 15% is charged for sales table livestock items where the Booking Forms were pre-booked correctly and on time.
