The boxes must be packed in a safe manner that will allow the lid to fit properly and the bags to remain secure and not roll around. Heat packs or containers with warm water should be included when the ambient temperature in low enough to affect the temperature within the polystyrene box.<br>All matters concerning the welfare of the fish are wholly the seller\u2019s responsibility.<br>Please ensure that all livestock are healthy prior to sale and correctly bagged.<\/mark><\/strong><br><br><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Consideration of sales table livestock should include the environmentental conditions, it is not acceptable for livestock to get cold when being offered for sale on the sales table. All matters concerning the welfare of the fish are wholly the seller\u2019s responsibility.<\/mark><\/strong><br><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Please ensure that all livestock are healthy prior to sale and correctly bagged.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Livestock not accepted in the auction<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Livestock named on the GOV.UK ILFA check list as banned species.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Fish with deformities. This includes inbred deformities such as \u201cBalloon\u201d types or those with exceptionally \u201clong fins\u201d.<br>These and other similar debilitating deformities are detrimental to the health of the fish.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Livestock that have been injected with dyes.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Genetically modified livestock such as \u201cGlo Fish\u201d.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Any fish deemed inappropriate for sale at a BLA event:<br>for example \u2018tank-busting\u2019 species, and aggressive hybrid fish (such as Flower horn cichlids).<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welfare of LivestockThe welfare of all livestock offered for sale is of paramount importance.
