CHANGES TO THE BLA AUCTION AND SALES TABLE FORMATS<\/mark><\/strong>
The BLA are getting ready for possible future legislation covering Livestock sales at Auctions and Sales tables. The sale of Livestock (in our case this means fish, shrimp and snails) is coming under scrutiny. To ensure we are ready for this, we have had to make a few changes to the way we run our Auctions and Sales Tables.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Auctions have already been using a system to pre-book Auction Lots. This system works well when correctly followed. However, when it isn\u2019t correctly followed it can cause delays to the start of the Auction and a lot of stress to those who have to bring it back on track.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The booking system will now extend to Livestock sold through the Sales Table as well as the Auction.<\/strong>
When you pre-book your Auction and Salestable livestock, it solves many issues and headaches for us as organisers of the event. The first thing it does is allow us sufficient time to populate the Auction and Sales Table spreadsheets so we can record all the sales.
Don\u2019t worry, we fully appreciate looking at your aquariums and making your list of Auction lots and Sales table items for pre-booking and going to catch them on the day are two different things. There will be time for you to confirm and where necessary alter your Auction lot and Sales table items on the sheets prior to the auction (Please give us the time to do this without delaying the auction).<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AUCTION<\/mark><\/strong>
The Auction is for fish only.
You are allowed a maximum of 50 Auction Lots. This is an auction for livebearing species predominently, therefore, we must limit your non-livebearers offered at auction to a maximum of 20% of your Auction Lots.<\/strong>
(Unless agreed with the Auction Manager before hand).<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SALES TABLE<\/strong> \u2013 LIVESTOCK<\/strong><\/mark>
You are allowed to enter a maximum of 25 livestock Sales table items, this includes Shrimp, Snails and fish (all acceptable species of fish allowed including non-livebearers).<\/strong> I<\/strong><\/mark>t May be possible to sell any unsold Livestock from the Sales Table during natural breaks in the Auction (this is dependant on time constraints).<\/mark><\/strong>
All livestock items <\/strong><\/mark>MUST<\/mark><\/strong> be booked in.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SALES TABLE<\/strong> \u2013 NON-LIVESTOCK<\/strong><\/mark>
You are allowed to Enter <\/mark><\/strong>25 items
Elecrical items are either sold as working order or spares\/repaires<\/strong><\/mark>
Electrical items sold as working order must have the seller’s name and contact details. If there is any dispute regarding the item sold, the buyer can resolve it directly with the seller. <\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BOOKING FORMS<\/mark>
The booking forms will be supplied in Excel format. If you are unable to use this format, please make a note in the box marked Relevant information in the form below. We will work with you to get a satisfactory outcome to get your Livestock added to the Sales Table and Auction Lists on time.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
