Welfare of Livestock
The welfare of all livestock offered for sale is of paramount importance. This includes fish, shrimps and snails.  Please ensure that all livestock are healthy prior to sale and correctly bagged.

Prebooking Livestockfor the auction or sales table
All seller’s livestock must aligned to an auction letter and all livestock must be pre-booked
. We do this for two reasons. The first is to understand the health and whereabouts of the rarer livebearers within the UK. The second is that this may become a pre-requisit for all auctions in the future.
The BLA reserve the right to certain descretion when the seller is booking their Auction lots and sales table livestock in on the day.
Please note: We will not accept new auction or sales table livestock lists on the day of the event. Additions to an existing pre-booked list will be accepted at the auction managers descretion.
Seller’s guidelines

Auction Sellers
The BLA requires auctions to start on time to avoid delays at the end of the day.
Seller’s must have their auction lots booked in and with the auction team a minimum of one hour before the start of the auction.

BLA Sales Table.
The BLA Sales table gives the seller a way to sell their surplus aquarium furniture, plants and livestock etc.
Excess livestock can be accepted fish (this includes non-livebearers),shrimp, snails and live cutures.
