The aims of the BLA events
The primary aims of BLA Events
The BLA currently hold 4 events a year that include an auction. These are Bristol, Basingstoke, Carlisle and Shenstone.
To provide the opportunity for:
- Members to get together to exchange information and socialise.
- Breeders/hobbyists to move-on any excess stock that they have bred.
- Hobbyists & conservationists to obtain breeding stock not usually available from their LFS.
- Hobbyists to move on livestock they no longer wish to keep.
- Fund raising to cover the day to day costs involved with running the BLA.
- Fund raising that allows the BLA to directly support the conservation of Livebearing fish
