Seller’s letter and Booking Forms

Important information
The contact form for the next auction is at the bottom of the page with some useful links that take you to the pages that cover important information with regards to the livestock welfare, the auction process, livestock transportation.

Seller’s letter.
To be able to sell any livestock at a BLA event, you must request a seller’s letter that is specific to that event. This applies to both the sales table and the auction. The seller’s letter is our way of identifying your livestock.

Please note: The Seller’s letter is for individual use only and cannot be shared with another Seller.

Requesting your seller’s letter and the relevant booking forms
A seller’s letter can be requested alongside with the relevant booking forms by completing the on-line contact form found on the club website under Events and then the loction of the event. The seller can also contact the auction manager directly if necessary.

Booking forms available
There are three booking forms to choose from. The booking forms are provided in an excel format for the seller to complete, If the seller has any questions or is unable to download the booking form for any reason, please contact the auction manager.

Auction booking form

  • The form has provision for a maximum of 50 auction lots.
  • This is a fish only auction, all other livestock must go onto the sales table.
  • Non livebearing fish can be entered into the auction but must not exceed 20% of the sellers’ total lots.
    Only acceptable fish will be allowed into the auction (see seller’s guidance)

Sales table booking form – Livestock

  • The Seller will be allowed to enter a maximum of 25 items of livestock to include fish, Shrimp, Snails and live cultures
    Only acceptable fish will be allowed onto the sales table (see seller’s guidance)
  • All livestock entered as sales table items must also be correctly labelled and match the booking form.
  • If the seller wishes any unsold sales table items may be auction after the main auction has concluded (this is dependent on factors such as time available).

Sales table booking form

  • Non-livestock items must also be booked in before being offered for sale on the sales table. These can be pre-booked or they can be booked in on the day (booking forms will be available for you to fill in for you complete at the sales table).
  • All sales table items must be labelled with the price and any relevant information.

Prebooking of auction lots and sales table items.
All auction lots and sales table items must be booked the day before the event and confirmed on the day.
We understand that the information on the booking form submitted the day before the auction may vary to the livestock you are able to bring, don’t worry changes can be made on the day.

Please note:
1). we can only accept booking forms in a form that we can cut and paste the information you send, photographs of the your booking form will not be accepted.
2). Booking Forms for livestock must be submitted by the 12:00 noon on the day prior to the auction.
(Unless agreed with Auction Manager) failure to do so may affect your commission rate.

3). Booking Forms will NOT be accepted on the day of the auction.
4). This does not apply to the non-livestock items that can be entered on the day of the event.
